Vertex Compressor RSP SYN 46 is a high-performance synthetic compressor oil manufactured with polyalphaolefin base oils and alkylated naphthalene technology. It contains a rust and oxidation inhibitor system, along with anti-wear additives, to provide outstanding oxidation resistance and corrosion protection. The high viscosity index and low pour points of the polyalphaolefin base fluid permit application in a wider range of ambient operating temperatures compared to conventional lubricants. Vertex Compressor RSP SYN 46 delivers long oil life and effective lubrication in severe applications. It is recommended for lubricating reciprocating, rotary screw, and slide vane air compressors where the air delivery temperatures exceed 150°C, but it is not suitable for use in breathing air compressors.
