Vertex Multi Tack EP2 Grease is a premium lithium complex, multi-purpose grease with a high dropping point in excess of 260°C (500°F), which ensures retention where high temperatures are encountered. This product has been formulated with a special additive package which insures high film strength, extreme pressure (EP) and anti-wear properties. The high-quality virgin base fluids provide excellent natural oxidation inhibition. The combination of effective antioxidants as well as corrosion inhibitors provide extra stability under storage and extreme service conditions. Meeting NLGI 2 Certification Multi Tack EP2 Grease offers effective lubrication up to a working temperature of up to 170 °C. It is suitable for lubrication of all types of bearings encountering higher than average temperature, including high rotational speed requiring centralized lubrication with exposure to shock, overloading, and contamination. Multi Tack EP2 Grease provides trouble free, cost-effective, long-life lubrication in heavy duty applications encountered in glass, steel, cement, metallurgy, and mining industry such as electric motors, hot air fans, vibrating shafts, bucket pins, excavators, etc.
